Andy’s Facebook Training

Andy had another incredible Thursday night training. One of the topics was using Facebook to generate leads. Here is the training:

FACEBOOK USE FOR SPONSORDADDY

There are a multitude of social networking sites out there. Some will appeal to and work for you more than others. For me, Facebook “fits” with me, where MySpace etc may “fit” for others.

I am using Facebook almost exclusively to contact other network marketers to build my SponsorDaddy opportunity. I have not used it yet to find home-based business seekers, but am sure that it is a good resource for that too.

The golden rule for me in contacting others either online or offline is respect. I accept there are “alpha” personalities who use hard sell techniques to build successfully. That is not who I am and is not my comfort zone. I approach others, as I would wish to be approached myself. This is what works for me. Perhaps you have a different philosophy and should stick to methods that work for you. I do not think Facebook will be a successful platform for a more aggressive approach, however.

So, how do I use Facebook?

1)                  Facebook allows you to build “friends”. As you build friends you can interact with them to talk about SponsorDaddy. I use my Facebook profile 95% for business networking and 5% personal contact. Because of this, I am looking to add friends who are in network marketing.

A typical example would be for me to do a search on Facebook for a network marketed opportunity. Let’s pick an example of Andy Smith’s Healthy Juice. I search for that and when the results come up, I click on the “groups” tab. I then look for a group that has a decent amount of members – maybe 200 and higher and open the group.

I then click on “Members” to see all the Members of that group individually. It is not necessary to join the group to do that. I will then individually invite those Members in sequence to be my “friend”. I do not invite all – maybe 100 at a time – and am somewhat selective based on the profile pics. You can go back in to this group and invite more later, as you can see those you have already invited.

Click on “Add as Friend” and it gives you the ability to add a message. Always add one. I keep mine very simple:

:Hi ………. I look forward to networking with you. All the very best, Andy”.

2)                  A portion of those people you invited will confirm you as a friend and this is shown on your “wall” of your profile page. If you click on your “Friends” tab at the top, then “recently added”, it brings up the friends added in sequence. I use a basic pad of paper to write down those I have invited to take a look at SponsorDaddy, so that I keep track of where I am in the sequence.

At this stage, you will click on each of the fiends in sequence and look at their profile. If they are plainly not network marketers, do not invite them – you do not have to invite everyone. The reality is that you will invite almost all of the confirmed friends, as using the example above, they will have a reference to “Andy Smith’s Healthy Juice” or other MLM in their profile.

The invite I send to those friends is here. Please use your own words for your comfort zone and it also avoids multiple invites in the same language if those friends are friends with more than one of us. You can check that in the “mutual friends” area on their profile:

Hello …….,

Great to meet you and I hope 2009 is off to a flying start for you.

I saw from your profile that you are an entrepreneur and have embraced the network marketing business model. Congratulations! I'm delighted to have seen the power of that too. Along my particular path, I came across a system called SponsorDaddy that is really helping build my primary business and I was wondering if you'd be open to finding out more about it.

I was introduced to SponsorDaddy a few months ago and it has had a massive impact on my primary business. It is a lead management, training, development and marketing system all in one place. It will work superbly to build your Andy’s Healthy Juice  business opportunity.

The best part of it for me is that I can talk to other networkers about SponsorDaddy and instead of the silly and pointless cross-recruiting dance we usually do, where we try to recruit each other into our primary opportunities, we can talk to other networkers warmly about SponsorDaddy as it benefits all networkers.

This has lead to multiple network marketed businesses cooperating and gaining from each other. Plainly as SponsorDaddy benefits any network marketer, the Global audience is massive.

I won't add the link without your blessing and no worries if you're not wanting the link.

I hope this message finds you well and happy,

Andy

3)                  Once you have invited people in this way, a portion will ask for the links to SponsorDaddy. My experience is that about 25% do that. If they request the links, I will send them, but in this case, tailor the message much more personally than the previous messages. Talk more about them and their opportunity, their profile pic, etc.

And example of how I send the link is below, but again, you should personalize that to the specific friend you are sending the links to:

Hi ……,

That's great! The link is here:

SponsorDaddy is 2 things. In short, it will help build any network marketed business through sorting, sifting and development of leads. Second, because of that, it appeals to network marketers globally, so is a massive opportunity in and of itself, especially if you know and/or meet network marketers. Win win.

As you follow through the site, click on "System" and it will take you to the site explaining the SponsorDaddy opportunity.

We have a "Leaders Club" group here on Facebook to help each other use SponsorDaddy to the best efficiency. I'll send you and invite.

Cheers and all the best,

Andy

4)                  Now, as is the true glory of SponsorDaddy, I do nothing with that contact until they enter the SponsorDaddy site. I may send a general update, or invite to them to a webinar. Sometimes they ask me to contact them later, which obviously I do. This is the part where your traditional network marketing techniques will come in to play. Plainly those “Hot Leads” that come from this require traditional follow up action.

That’s basically what I’ve been doing on Facebook. I am going to try an additional approach, which is instead of inviting more friends, I am going to go back to friend #1 and in sequence look at their profiles and see who I would like to interact with. I am aiming for 10/day to actually strike up a relationship with and see how that impacts the SponsorDaddy development.

As always, keep the Facebook prospects’ needs in your Mind’s eye and not your wants and needs. That way, you will retain the respectful attitude, won’t spam people and will in fact endear yourself to others, whether or not they are interested in SponsorDaddy.

Feel free to call me at (000) 000 0000, or Skype me at ________ if I can help in any way. Good luck!

Cheers,

Andy

New Conference Call Schedule

Remember there is a new schedule to connect with me directly and here is a couple testimonials from those using them correctly.

Testimonial:  January 6, 2010
Seal the deal with a  3-way call with George Hartmann!
I meet people on the social sites, Facebook, Plaxo, etc.
Invite them to visit my Sponsor Daddy site.
When they become a hot lead,  call them, answer questions and then set them up for next appointment and schedule it just before a 3-way with George.
Introduce them to George and have questions answered and feel the excitement that George has for this system.
The hot lead also gets an opportunity to hear the other callers and questions asked on the call.
Results: 90% signup immediately and the other 10% go to a webinar for further information and then sign up. Why do it any other way! rebecca russell
From Alan__Hi George,

Thanks so much for your great work with Monte yesterday!

I originally found him in October in a Facebook Network Marketing group. He has a business coaching service and is also in MLM .

I added him as a friend using Gavins Facebook MLM process. After he accepted on October 25, I followed up with a message about SponsorDaddy - my own version of Maggie's variation of Gavin's original!  He expressed interest on October 29 and gave me a link to his site.  I added him to the system (.me) using TAN and messaged him to expect an e-mail from me.

On December 27 he went into the system (in response to an autoresponder e-mail) and got to Step 2. I called him that morning and again in the evening and left a message both times. That day I also sent out an e-mail to all hot prospects with a calendar of calls for the remainder of the year.

On December 28 he e-mailed me to say he had listened to the calls - "great stuff" - and would like me to call him either January 5 or January 8 between certain times. I confirmed for January 5 1 hour before George's 3-way call.

We talked and I walked him through the site and showed him the chat feature. I asked if he could see how the system would benefit him. He replied by asking me exactly how it would work for his coaching business.

I said "I really don't know the answer to that - I have only worked with network marketers. But I can let you talk with our Master Distributor who can certainly answer that. Would that be OK with you?" He agreed, saying he would only have a few minutes for the call, and I made sure to get the question clear and suggested I call him back 5 minutes before the 3-way call.

I e-mailed George with the question, called Monte before the call and 3-wayed him in. We waited a few minutes for the call to start, then I jumped in as soon as I could with his question. George gave him a concise and very clear explanation of exactly how it would work and told him about the ILG custom wrap.

He stayed to the end of the call, and I called him back right after. We used the chat feature to bring up the signup page, he signed up as a $50 customer!

Thanks again, George!
